Yes, yes, I know I have plenty else out there to finish (that's why i have Other/comment option listed), including the LOOTR universe and the Silence AU and lots of old WIPs like "OWT" and "Water". . .but here are the ones that are nibbling at my toes ATM. . . .

I just so want to get it RIGHT. . .it's like this paralyzing fear. . . . Do you think I could just jump in and write the darned thing the next time I get enough mood up, and blast the fretting over getting it right?
There's nothing in my files that's been condemned to eternal abandonment, just FYI. . . .

The LOOTR (Life Out Of The Ruins) AU stuff is on my Febobefics LJ. . .just LJ with the username febobefics, look for entries labelled Life Out Of the Ruins. :) There's no FN stuff yet, but it's coming. . .I've got some written, even!!!!

Yes. That's it. Aduial. I would dearly love to see that one again. As for jumping in, gosh, I'm the last person to ask. I'm a very slow writer, so am not very good at jumping in myself. But perhaps maybe you shouldn't fret as much. Try writing a chapter, not worrying too much about it, but just get it done, and then turn around and start to tweak and edit to make it feel just right. I've been given that advice before, and I've needed it because I too have often found it difficult to start because I wanted something to be 'just right'.
